Which do you think is better for self defense glock 21 or a glock 20.
I carry a g20 as my day to day for work and a g29 for my ccw. But my buddy says his g21 is better. What do.you think.

More factory ammo available in self-defense loads in .45" ACP. More .451" bullets available if you handload. 10mm is a great round, but doesn't have the popularity, & hence the variety, of choices the .45" ACP enjoys.
If you're happy w/ yours, & have a load you feel comfortable w/ & can shoot minute of burglar w/, stick w/ it. Gig 'em, backbencher |

Other than ammo availability and cost, 45 offers no advantage over 10mm IMO. Buy in bulk online and the difference in cost is negligable.
I'll take 15+1 rounds of 10mm over 13+1 rounds of 45 ACP any day, personally. YMMV EDIT: That said, my G20 is primarily my "woods" gun when carrying open. I feel my 9's and 40's are sufficient for CCW. |
