| Just curious as to how many have problem free gen 4's. I have a 35 with 500 flawless rounds, about 50 of the rounds have been rapid fie. Mine was made in may of 11 and hasn't been updated with the new rsa. Anyway if you have one share the model, manufacture date, round count and tell us if you replaced the rsa. |

I picked up a Gen 4 21 last week. Since I got it I have nearly 600 rounds through it with out a single problem. Oh yeah, and over 500 of those rounds are lead in the factory barrel! IMO, the 21 is probably the best gen4 yet. I have not heard one person complain about any problems. |

I didn't have any malfunctions with it, but it would consistently throw brass in my face. |

they seem to have a tighter barrel fit I noticed that, too, but I thought it might have just been my imagination. My G34 seems like it locks up a lot tighter than any of my 3rd gens. Its not the barrel hood, nor the locking lug. Its the hump on the trigger bar and the overly stiff RSA. Run at least 5k rounds through the gun and it loosens up to the same "feel" as a generation 3. IF the lock up were tighter we would be seeing match level accuracy improvements in the generation 4 guns over the generation 3's. |
