| How do the G19 and G36 compare dimensionally? Would a 36 fit well in a 19 holster or vice versa? I am buying a Versa max 2 from Milt Sparks, and it would be nice if it would fit both pistols. |
| The 36 is a touch thinner than the 19. The sides of the 36's frame are flush with the slide and don't bulge out the way they do on the 19 (and most other Glocks). So the 36 will very most likely fit in a holster designed for the 19, but it could be a bit loose in there without the extra frame thickness that the 19 has and the holster will be designed to accommodate. |

Thanks. Maybe I will order the holster to fit a 19. I own the 36 now, but plan to pick up a 19 soon too. Good leather isn;t cheap, and it would be great it one could hold both. I had a Comptac Minotaur fitted for a Glock 19. It also fits my Glock 36 and the IWB design snugs up the holster. |
