Bought a 17 Gen 4 back in fall of last year and today I bought another to match.  The only difference that I am aware is that the first one came with 3 high-cap mags, and this one today came with 3 10-round mags (ie. soon to be up for sale).  The first pistol was bought new locally from a local gun dealer, but this new one was ordered for me because they seem to be getting harder to find.  I was actually disappointed in the 10-round mags when I arrived to pick it up, cause now I've got to replace them.

Anyone know why the barrels are marked differently or what the additional letters (ie. AT) on the latest one mean?  I've never noticed the pentagon shaped symbol with the dot in the center either.

The AT means that the barrel was made in Austria. Glock now makes some pistols entirely in the US, they have US on the barrel and USA on the slide, currently they're only exported to other countries.

The "dotted pentagon" indicates the grade of steel that the barrel is made from. I own a barrel with a regular pentagon and one with a dotted pentagon, the dotted pentagon barrel is a much harder steel.

Yours came with 10rd mags because it is a white label

White = 10rd mags
Red = High Cap mags
Blue = Law Enforcement

And as already said the AT is a proof mark

I would have refused to take the 10 round magazines.

Haha, same here.  I don't think any Glocks come with 10 rd magazines in Texas, not that I've seen or bought.  My recent G4 19 came with 3 15 round magazines.
