See the movie Bad Boys 2?  They carry glocks with satin silver slides on them.  Were these custom or aftermarket exchanges?  I have a feeling they are custom, so how would one go about doing this?

Any gunsmith that does teflon moly coating can do it.   BUT WHY??  So you want to take a perfectly good finsih from the manufacturer and replace it with crap?  Dont do it.

gun kote does a brushed stainless coating or you could do it correctly and buy a caspian slide for about $190 but they won't do another run  until 2005.

ccr-refinishing.com is his website.  The owner is Brad.  Does great work.  Turn around time has averaged about 3- weeks, but work is well worth it.
