Got this from another site. A 1911 and a Glock walk into a bar... The 1911 says to the Glock, "Hey, you ugly foreign prick, wanna have a drinking contest?". Glock replies, "You old bastard! You won't make it past 8 rounds!" |
|
Quoted:
.....and so they let the games begin, the Glock took 17 shots one after another without a hiccup, and the 1911 took only 3 failing to feed the rest. 1911 was forced to pay the bar tab. But it wasn't fair to the 1911 because it hadn't been broken in yet, and it's got much tighter stomach tolerances, and it wasn't designed to consume anything other than one particular brand and strength of whiskey. |

| then as they were walking home (becaue they did not have a driver,) Mr. Glock fell in a muddy hole, just shook himself off and kept on walking. Unfortuantely for Mr. 1911 who was trying to keep up with Mr. Glock fell in the same muddy hole, but he had to have some major detailing done to him before he could start walking again. |

Quoted: That depends on the 1911. I've had my Kimber for seven years and it shot everything I put in the mag without a hiccup without any break in and still does.Quoted: .....and so they let the games begin, the Glock took 17 shots one after another without a hiccup, and the 1911 took only 3 failing to feed the rest. 1911 was forced to pay the bar tab. I've run reloads with semi-wadcutters, factory loads of Winchester truncated cone, Talons, Rangers, and Federal Hydra Shok with no more than two malfunctions in seven years. And iirc, those were with the reloads.
