So every time I’d see someone post should I get a Gen3 or Gen4 I’d tell them get the gen3. It’s more proven and doesn’t have any quirks. But after going to a show and handling them both, I really like the way the Gen4 G21 felt (more so than a Gen4 19/17/23/22) over the Gen3 or Gen3-SF. The G21 is a big girl, but the Gen4 seemed to fit better (and that was before trying any of the different back-straps). The trigger was also smoother, though not sure if that had anything to do with it being a Gen3 vs 4 thing or just those two particular guns.
Most of the issues I’ve seen people have with the Gen4 guns have been with the 9mms, so I am wondering if anyone has a Gen4 G21 with a few thousand rounds through and how well it’s performing. We all know Gen3s are tanks, but thinking of taking a plunge on the Gen4. |
