Replaced by springs for a Wolffe Spring set. The issue is the my trigger saftey will not reset itselft. Example if I touch the trigger it will not resetf. I am guessing the weight of trigger spring or the plunge sgring. Any sugggestions to fix to have a safe pistol or something I have to live with a competition spring kit.

You've got two problems.
1. The firing pin spring is too weak. 2. The trigger spring is too strong. Either alone can cause the problem, both combined will make the problem worse. I'd replace the firing pin spring with the factory spring first, if you still experience the problem try using the factory trigger spring. You may be able to use one of the Wolff Springs reliably and maintain a lighter than factory trigger pull. You'll have to experiment with which one reduces the trigger pull weight the most and is still reliable. |

Anything below a 5 pound striker spring is going to prove to be unreliable with FACTORY ammunition.
Depending on brand of ammunition you're going to experience some light strikes more frequently than others. Generally speaking, the 6 lb trigger springs tend to cause more issues than they are worth. Due to the way the Glock works, the trigger spring is constantly under tension when the pistol is cocked. The stronger trigger spring is going to mess with that trigger safety when you HELP it pull rearward by installing the lighter striker spring. IF you're trying to lighten up the trigger press you're going to see the most benefit simply from dropping in the six pound trigger return spring. Generally speaking these 6 lb springs remove 8-12 ounces from your trigger press. The striker springs are generally 4-6 ounces of reduced weight. Good luck with your mods! |
