For the life of me I cannot find a G19 gen 3 that does not shoot 3-5" left. Before the requisite charts and instruction, I have been carrying Glocks professionally for 21 years and always qualify max score. The 19 is the only one that does this for me, my 23 is dead nuts and my 38 is a 25 meter sniper pistol. I really want an accurate 19 but being in NY it's a bitch to keep switching them out.
Anybody else notice this lately? |

Use more finger on the trigger. I always have to use more finger on the trigger of Glocks than I do with other guns. tried that, tried everything including benching it. this is the third in a row that was off to some degree (more than acceptable degree) I can live with a couple inches off but entirely different anatomical areas is not . |

i hate to sound like an ass, but has someone else fired these guns? this is too much. a 23 is a pumped up 19! I have no issue with the 23 or the 38 so it stand to reason that the 19, if it were straight, would follow suit. The group is nice and tight just way left/low. The 23 is about 1.5" left and the 38 is a nice tight group dead center. |

I have never fired a G19 that I didn't shoot left. I am right handed and left eye dominant, therefore most pistols I shoot are off to the left. The Glock is just a little more.
The issue has already been addressed for you. Drift the sight. I have done it easily with a dowel rod. If you are unwilling to do this and fix the issue, then you have a real problem. I doubt Glock will make a 19 specific for Natty_Bumppo that is custom made for his eyes alone. This is a weekly thing on this site with complaints of Left shooting 19's. YOU are shooting the pistol left. Not the other way around. |
| most all fixed sights guns are NOT going to hit center mass for everyone- everyone grips fires and sights a bit different. I shoot in GSSF master class and nearly all my pistols have needed some lateral adjustment. That is what sight pushers are for. Being a fellow new yorker and knowing how much of a pain it is to buy guns add to a permit then sell and go through all the paperwork, honestly it seems a bit crazy to buy different guns to find one that shoots center when a simple tap with a punch will solve the problem. You just got lucky with the other glocks- get over your fixation and tap the rear sight. |
| Quit being so hard headed about it and drift the darn sight. It's not a precision article from the factory. If it was tested at all it was probably 7 yards max. Most of mine have needed to be fine tuned to my satisfaction for 25 yard shooting. In fact only one out of six hasn't been tweaked. |

Since the 23 and 19 have the same frame, I would lean towards it being a sight issue. Have someone else shoot it to be sure. If the rear is drifted out to the edge to shoot straight, I'd send it to Glock to see what's wrong. Or at least visit your local armorer. |
| Dry fire the pistol and watch the front sight. Does it twitch? If not, then drift the rear sight. If it does twitch, work on your technique. When I shoot/dry fire my 19, I push the gun forward real hard with my right hand, and pull the gun backward real hard with my left. It is fatiguing, and hurts my hand, but it keeps the sight still when I pull the trigger. Just my .02 |

I have the sights on both my G17s a little to the right, and they both shoot POA at 50 yards.
It doesn't matter how much or how little finger I use, if I'm standing, off a knee, or off sandbags. I even shoot right hand only and left hand only. The pistol shoots POA for me now. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

What worked for me was more weak hand pressure, less strong hand (grip pressure).
Using the "thumbs forward" technique, apply more pressure with your weak hand thumb (if pulling left) and more weak hand index finger pressure (under the trigger guard) if pulling low. |
