I want to get info on the recoil of the ported Glock 20C.  This is the ported full size 10mm.  Ihave heard 10mm is slightly higher recoiling than a standard 1911-A1, so I was wondering how much better the ported/compesated version handles.  I own a Glock 22 in .40S&W the problem with it is not recoil but muzzle flip/rise.  With my 22 I handle it more comfortably with a push/pull grip versus the weaver or crush grip I use on my CZ 9mm and Colt .45acp.  Does the 10mm handle the same way as the .40 S&W or does the porting largely eliminate the rise or flip?  Alsowhat would you compare the ported model 10mm recoil and handling characteristics too.  Please only answer if you have handled the 20C!!!

Any info appreciated,

Matt

I have not shot the 20c but I have the G20 and a 22.I find the recoil to be equal or even slightly less in the G20.I also have the G21c and if your looking to reduce muzzle flip this will help alot.If your just plinking you can also down load the 10mm rounds if you reload to help cut down on recoil.

I have a 31C which is 357sig version and it does have less mussle flip than the uncomped version.  The only problem is the vents put out quite a flash and it will blind you at night. I carry a 23 with a 356sig barrel and it has quite a kick the 31C is much tamer! hope that helps
