I just bought a NIB Gen 3 19 and I am having the ejection issues where the cases are coming back into my face. I know to fix this that I need to get a new ejector. My question is; when I am looking for a ejector are they all capable of fixing the problem or do I have to look for specific ejectors so that I do not have the same problem?

Thanks.

The standard ejector on g19s is marked with "336". The new ejector that is said to fix the ejection issue is marked with "30274". This thread has a couple of pics of the new one: http://pistol-forum.com/showthread.php?1720-New-Glock-Gen-4-ejector.

As far as I know, the new ejector is still only available directly from Glock (i.e. sending in your 19 to have it installed) or maybe from a certified Glock armorer. I haven't seen them for sale via other distributors yet.

Good to know. My new Gen3 17 does the same thing......right into my eyepro. At least it is consistent.

What is the date code on your 19?

Another fix would be stiffer wrists and elbows and/or stronger ammo, and/or weaker recoil spring.
