Any words on when this is coming out? I have large hands, so I use the large backstrap, and I've really had issues with slide bite.

My hand always looked the same after shooting Glocks.  Grip Force Adapters are cheap and eliminate the problem.  Pick one up!

You and me both brother. Although my case is nothing compared to yours.  I get rail road tracks rubbed in by the bottom of the slide. Yours looks like actual removeal of skin.
In my opinion Glock really screwed up with the 4th gen guns when they did not put a beavertail or even a 1/4" extension on the back of the frame. Would have made a much better version for people with large hands, or fat hands like mine.

Try shooting with some cheap gloves. Something like PUGS.  Spandex or nylon glove with a nitrile glove gripping surface.  Don't buy online. Go to a safety products warehouse and by some. I get them for about $1.75 each with tax. You can wash them 3 or 4 times maybe more. Most gun oils and stuff want hurt them, and they are generally cheap. If you loose them or they tear up then you can buy some more.  These gloves have helped me with my 19 problem and I can shoot 200 250 rounds of ammo and not have the marks.

Either that or pay someone a couple of hundred bucks to do the beaver tail on the frame.

I am working on doing something my self to my 19 but not very sure about the durability right now. And it will only be for the 3rd gen and earlier pistols.  Got to get some RTV, resin and some goop first.

Yeah, it ripped the skin straight off. I was shocked because I had fired quite a few rounds before I really noticed it. I looked down, and the skin was all puffy and inflamed and bleeding a little, and then I knew what had happened.

It is puzzling that they did not anticipate this. Adding the large backstrap noticeably reduces the amount of clearance there is between the web of my hand and how close it is to the slide. I'm even more puzzled that they showed off a prototype over a year ago but still haven't released it. I'd really like to buy that, but it looks like I'll have to go ahead and get the partial one that's out.
