My question is, I want to practice my trigger pull. Is it ok to dry fire this gun, several hundred times a day? Thanks in advance for your answers. |

Yes. You can dry fire any Glock until your fingers fall off. It is good to dry fire a Glock for obtaining good trigger technique because the trigger is directly connected to the striker via the trigger bar. This results in a very different feel if you are used to SA or DA triggers. When you dry fire your Glock, look at the front sight while you pull the trigger and see if it twitches off target. If it does, you need to practice more until it remains totally motionless when you pull the trigger. GlockFAQ Trigger technique Hope that helped you. |

Thanks for the reply. The reason I asked this question, is because I started dry firing all my favorite handguns, and noticed that I was twitching the front site. I seemed to pull it off to the right with every pull. Dry firing seeems like a great way to gain trigger control. |
