I finally got to take my G19 to the range tonight, putting through 125rds of a variety of ammo. 50 rds of 115gr FMJ American Eagle, 50 rds of WPA Wolf 115gr FMJ, and 25 rounds of Winchester Ranger 147gr JHP.

Flawless as expected. Fired each type with and without the X-300 to test for function.

I bought my p229 for comparison, which I have much more trigger time with. As always, shot friggin keyholes with the sig. The glock, not so much.

I was hitting up and left, which according to that glock aiming chart thingy, means I was pushing/anticipating. Is this normal for a shooter who is relatively new to the glock?

In my opinion that is the case.  I am also new to the G19, and my first rounds were not so great.  Once I saw the Glock chart, I was convinced I was anticipating.  I did a little work on my grip and just letting the pistol go off, and my groups tightened up dramatically.

Glock 19's need a few hundred rounds through them and the groups will get tighter. But the heavier pistols, HK, SIG, 1911's, and a few others here and there shoot very tight groups. Light pistols like the G19 take some time to learn the recoil dynamics and how to control the light pistol with same recoil takes some getting used to.

If you keep shooting with it, I bet you will get it down perfect.

Yeah man, keep practicing. When I transitioned from Glock to Sig, I was all over the place. Different systems take some getting used to. I'm shooting Glock again and it's totally different from Sig but groups are respectable. They are very accurate pistols.
