Got a new project in the works and I have about all the parts but the slide, extractor, and extractor plunger. My question is will a non LCI and a LCI extractor interchange ? I have been trying to find an OEM 17 slide with no luck so probably going to order a Lone Wolf  and I want to use a NON LCI extractor if possible.

Thanks

Either extractor is fine as long as it matches your slide cut (0/90 degrees or 15 degrees), but you need to use the correct spring loaded bearing for loaded-chamber indicator or non-LCI.

The LoneWolf slides, and all newer Glock slides, have a 15 degree ejection port. The non-LCI 15 degree extractors are no longer made. You could use a 90 degree non-LCI extractor in a 15 degree ejection port but the extra extractor material sticking out would look odd. You'd probably be better of using a LoneWolf 9mm extractor.

You can actually use a .40 extractor in a 9mm and it'll work fine, sometimes better than the original 9mm extractor did.

Also, if you use the White Sound Defense HRED extractor depressor plunger assembly, you can interchange LCI and non-LCI extractors as you please. That EDP assembly will work with both.
