Anyone know when the Gen 4 Glock 34s are coming out?
Tried looking around on the net, but no one seems to have them. |

Honest question: whats the difference between gen3 & 4? I've been thinking about buying a glock for a while. Enlighten me. Quality. Also new things tend to be let loose for the consumer to troubleshoot these days, so there were several problems at first with parts breaking, reliability issues. In reality, Glock had another wild idea and revamped everything over a couple models needing an upgrade. Glock should have, at the most, made new frames capable of resizing. Nothing else needed to be changed on 99% of models available |
| my sister got a gen4 19 and yeah the backstraps are cool but not that cool, with no backstrap on it's still the same as a regular 19 so all you can do is make it bigger, similar mag release button can be has for 30 bucks and you still have a dependable 3rd gen, just sayin..... there's nothing great about them |

Sucks though. The gen4 34's offer RTF2 and the mag release. You can't stipple a gen3 and stay in the same division, I don't know about the mag release.

| i'm left handed and would prefer it to be on the "right handed person" side anyways, i didn't notice the 2mm when handling my sisters 4th gen G19 but w/e i guess, i still think they suck i have 5 problem free 3rd gens with thousads and thousands of rounds thru them combined, hell mabye 10's of thousands |

You obviously don't. what reason? the claimed 15% less recoil? go buy a Mklll if you cant mannage 9mm recoil lol I have small hands. Mag release and trigger are easier to reach on a Gen4. I like the texture of the Gen4, but If I didn't have small hands I would have gone with an RTF. |

Problems with gen4 9mm are twofold with the extractor and the recoil spring. My Gen4 never had a problem with the spring but it came with the 'right' one. I had FTE problem crop up one range session at around the 2000 round mark so I swapped it for a LWD extractor. Problem went away. Has stayed away for 3000 rounds now. For me it was either a Gen4 or switch to M&P. I'd rather stick with Glock if I can, but if my next Gen4 has problems, It will be time to try something else. |
Then the G18 soon after?
