Is the ultimate pretty much the same as the rocket aside from the over travel stop?
Would these connectors pretty much have the same feel and break? |

I really don't think any of the drop-in connectors are much of an improvement. The Rocket is great though, and still easy enough to install if you have any degree of mechanical aptitude. Make sure you order the orange back-plate along with it, though, or fitting will be a PITA. IMO, the Rocket connector is hands down, the best one out there. It is the only one that shortens the reset/overtravel. The Glock trigger is never going to have a great break, and it will always have a mushy take-up (worse in the 3.5 connectors). However, the beauty of the Glock trigger is the firm, positive reset. The Rocket keeps the reset plenty strong, but just shortens it by as much as you dare. I have my G34's reset short enough that the trigger (when you ride the reset) basically feels like a clicky switch. It's awesome. The Ultimate, IMO, isn't a great improvement over the Glock/Scherer/LoneWolf etc 3.5 connectors. |
