| Didnt know if i should put this here or training. Anyways: What do you need to bring in regards to ammo count and any other equipment needed? Thanks for any help looking to do first match in August. |

You need:
1) Unmodified Glock. 2) A Holster. 3) 150 rounds per each division you intend to shoot. 4) Eye and ear protection. From GSSFonline.com 50.40 Suggested Ammunition Amounts We recommend that you bring a minimum of 150 rounds for each division you intend to shoot. |

all gssf matches are shot from the low ready so no holster is needed, some people like to carry the gun in a holster- I put all my gear in a 5 gallon bucket and walk around with it that way.
Bring as many mags as you can- it is just easier having a bunch of mags loaded up ahead of time (10 rounds per mag only) to make it quicker to get through all the stages. Shoot as many categories as you can- if you have a subcompact use it, you can shoot any gun in the competition category and still be competitive. what model glocks do you own? |

you can shoot 3 categories with a glock model 20-
ameteur civilian (or guardian if you fall into the le ems military) competition heavy metal the only difference in these is in heavy metal the strings of fire are 1 round per paper target and you can only load a max of 7 rounds in the gun. you are going to want to pick up a 9mm at some point as ammo costs in the 10mm (especially with it being a lost brass match) will bankrupt you if you attend a fair number of these matches if you shoot the above(plus most locations have some sort of "warm up match") bring a minimum of 300 rounds |

So I couldn't shoot my carry G19 with an extended mag release and extended slide release? |
