I have a 10 round glock 37 mag for my 39, when I try to pull the slide back to chamber a round round the slide gets stuck, with alot of force I can get it to go back it to bo back but when I release it the round gets hung up om the feed ramp.

If I move the mag by grabbing the bottom and moving it front to back tge slud then drops. I am wondering if its a mzg issue and not the gun, I dont have a problem with tne standard mags, this is my first sub glock so I dont know if full size mags are problimatic in sub guns.

This may or may not be the problem.  Try inserting a loaded magazine with the slide forward.   Then retract the slide and see if a round will feed and chamber.  Sometimes when inserting a longer magazine like a 23 or 22 into a Glock 27 the mag will slide past the mag catch which can inhibit chambering.  Peace Grip makes mag adapter which slide over the top of the mag which mates the exterior of the mag to the grip and prohibiting the mag being inserted to far.  When inserting the Glock 37 mag in a Glock 39 you should be able to feel or hear the mag catch locking the mag into mag catch cut out.  If the mag engaged in the catch you shouldn't be able to move the mag up or down.  Otherwise I've never heard of problem using higher capacity mags in Glocks including 45 GAP pistos.

have you tried it with the mag not full?   (7 or 8 rounds in that 10 round mag)

It has the spacer on it that slides over the mag, I think what you described is whats happening, I adjusted the spacer and it seems a little better. Thank you for responding.

not unusual trying to use the longer mags in the subcompacts- my glock 27 did this with mod 22 mags but not with 23 mags- just one of those things

Haven't noticed it with our issued G39's, we qualify with the ten rounders and have not experienced any issues.

Thanks guys for replying, its strange, the good news is once it gets a round chambered the gun fires fine.
