I am looking for a sight pusher, mainly for Glocks but also may use it on 1911's and some other random guns...

I was going to go with the MGW sight pusher, but it appears to be brand specific. I also noticed the B & J Machine sight pusher, and it looks to be a little more versatile...

Looking at the feedback for the B & J at Midway looks good, but the feedback for the same at Brownells not so hot...

Has anyone used both or at least the B & J and can provide some feedback?

Thanks!
Dave

I had the B&J because I need to change the sights on a Jericho and could find no dedicated tool for it.  The B&J chewed up the rear and scuffed the front.   The pusher tip rotates as you turn the handle, making the situation worse.  It is also easy to damage the dovetail if your settings are not just right.

In all fairness, the Jericho sights are extremely tight, so it may work better on different guns.

But I would spend the extra $$ for dedicated pushers if that is an option,

I'd go with the Kaiser Uni-2OOL.  I have one and its great.  its well made and universal so will work with and handgun.  It will be the last sight tool you'll ever need.

Get the MGW. Use the right tool for the job, or risk goofing your sight or slide up. I've seen this happen numerous times with people using some of these universal sight pushers.

I would also avoid the Kaiser universal pusher. I've read numerous damning reviews of it on Amazon, Brownells, Midway, etc.

Thanks for the feedback, looks like I will go with the MGW...
