Where does one get the kits or whatever for these?  I tried Google mobile search but the shopping aspect of it sucks and didn't turn up a seller.  I have no regular Internet until my ISP gets the new modem to me later this week.

Lone Wolf for the slide.  Glock makes a 6" 10mm barrel that you can drop in said slide.

+1, or you can get the barrel from Lone Wolf also.

I may go with the aftermarket barrel, since I'll be shooting reloads at some point in the future, though I've read that people seem to do OK with Glock barrels if they swab them out regularly.  Thanks for the information.

Go with the non-glock barrel.

That's all you need?  Do you reuse the stock recoil spring and guide?

The stock spring is fine.  Lone Wolf has open top and closed top long slides.  I got a closed top.  It has more mass than a standard G20 slide so it can handle hotter loads on a stock recoil spring.

You will need a firing pin channel liner and sights for the new slide.  You can move over the other parts from your existing slide if you want.

If you want to get hot with your reloads, the aftermarket barrels usually have a tighter chamber, which is easier on your brass.

Absolutely.  In addition the longer barrel gives the powder more time to burn so you can use some slower burning powders that generate higher velocities than possible out of shorter barrels.  For example, my hottest 165grn load in my 6" KKM barreled G20L clocks at a screaming 1,503fps which generates 827ft/lbs of muzzle energy!
