I need to find a good source for a front sight only...standard dot for a Glock 9mm
I checked several gun parts sites and could only find night sights...I'll settle for a good used one or a set of standard sights... Thanks |

Ameriglo has he best selection of standard height front sights. Do yourself a favor and get narrower than stock. I suggest the GW-116 version if you are going to replace only the front sight. But you should replace the front and rear sights with some steel sights from Warren Tactical, Heinie, or 10-8 if you haven't done so already. Best Glock modification is some better sights. Second best Glock modification is some more ammo. |
| Arotek has some decent plain black sights at a reasonable price. They are definitely low profile, the there is much more of a gap on the sides of the front post when the sights are lined up than what the stock Glock sights give you. |

If your nice and ask politely, I have a metal replacement one that is a copy of a factory front sight that you can have. I have a box of Glock parts, mostly floor plates, but I do have some sights. IM me if your interested. It doesn't get any cheaper than that! If my guns don't come with n/s, that is the first thing I rip off and replace with n/s. Even if the tritium is burned out, you have a better sight picture. By using n/s, going from one gun to another, you maintain a uniform sight picture as well. I realize you didn't ask for this thesis when all you wanted was a stock front sight, but as long as you are replacing the sights, it bears investigation from you. |

Thanks everyone for your response.....
Years ago, before my untimely retirement ( medically) from Law enforcement I used to have contact with some of the Glock LE reps...they always had spare parts, mags, about anything you needed...but times have changed and the reps I knew have all gone elsewhere... |
