So I just got 4th gen G19 and would like to run it without any of the backstraps (small hands I guess) but the pin that i have is a little to big and sticks out on both sides more than I would like, any idea if there is a smaller one I can order? What size? Link would be great Thanks! |

It comes with one standard/short pin installed in the firearm w/out any of the backstraps and then in the packet with the 3 backstraps there should be a second longer pin I think this is my problem, I only have the large pin. Any idea what size I need to order for the Short/Standard pin? |

you could always just take the pin out and put it somewhere so that it wont disappear if it's bothering you. I do not think this would be a good solution as the pin holds part of the trigger assembly if i am not mistaken. You are correct Here is a link for a trigger housing pin from Brownells, it says for G36, but it should be correct. There are 3 different pin sizes for the regular frame guns. The smallest is for the Gen 4 with no backstrap and the G36, the medium fits the Gen3 and prior and the long fits the Gen 4 w/ Backstraps http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/pid=24256/Product/Trigger_Housing_Pin But If I were you, before I spent the $ for the pin and shipping I would call Glock. Tell them you bought a Gen 4 gun and there is no small pin. They should send you one for free. It is a cheap part and they have excelent customer service. |

Same problem, mine didn't come with the longer accessory pin, got it used as new
I just called Glock and not only are they sending me the longer Accessory pin, they are also sending me an upgraded recoil spring assembly, with revision numbers. Whoot whoot!!!! Glock customer service!!!!!!!!! |
| My brother had the same issue yesterday with his Gen 4/G17. I measured the short pin from my Gen 4/G35 at .821, and we dremeled his pin to length, problem solved. iF you don't have a caliper. just make sure the pin is extends a tiny bit out of each side of the frame, but not so it extend out as wide as the grip. |
