I've seen the Triji HD's in person, they look pretty freakin good to me...but good luck finding them in stock somewhere
Heard nothing but good about Ameriglo Never seen Glock night sights with the U outlined rear from the factory...the front might have been a night sight but I the white outlined U is a NON night sight from Glock |

There is a set of steel GLOCK sights that have luminescent paint, you'll need to "charge" them with a light to make them glow.
They are listed in the 2011 GLOCK annual, but I have not seen them any where yet.

Glock sells their own night sights (with Meprolight tubes), Meprolighs and Trijicons...I prefer Trijicons but have carrying them in nearly every pistol
I own since 1986 or thereabouts...I bet you won't go wrong with any of them... Trijicons have always seemed a bit better focused, I like the sapphire lens (as opposed to Meps synthetic) but the Meps seem to be a bit brighter, unfocused and sometimes their white circle around the tube is easier to see...Trijis are made in the USA if that is important to you... I was going to start a thread to ask a question, but figure I'll just tack it onto this thread.................
I know one of major NS makers uses simple white paint around the dots, and one uses an actual plastic tube for the white ring. Which maker uses the white plastic tube? |

Ameriglo makes a set of sights similar to what you are describing. Not sure if that is what you are describing they have a I-Dot and and U-Rap.

I have Glock OEM night sights on my G30, which if I recall are actually Meprolights. They're white paint on the interior of the tube rather than a sleeve, but the rings are clear none the less. The U-shaped notch sights may be 10-8 or Warren Tactical. Ameriglo generally are very good. Trijicons tend to have smaller but brighter dots than most. Aro-tek are also very good in my experience. |
