Glock 26, Gen 4 for $500, no tax and free shipping. Will need to pay $20 FFL transfer fee.

Saw one in the local fun shop that usually has good prices for $540, plus tax.

Good price? No?

It is NIB.

Seems like a good price to me. Although, I am in Maryland everything here is a little bit more expensive.

The GSSF price us nice, but I would have to wait a full year to order one and pay the $35 membership fee...I am not that patient.

I'm not sure why you'd have to wait a year.  I'm not 100% sure on the whole process, but from what I read......you can call up Ed's Public Safety, and they sign you up for GSSF right then and there and honor the GSSF pricing and ship you your new Glock right away.

But factoring the fees in ($35 1-year membership fee + shipping), you're only saving about $25 by going the GSSF route.  IMO, I'd jump on the $520 deal you have your eyes on right now.

Interesting, but can't find that information on their web site, do you have a link to that detail?

Ah, just saw it.

And, I also checked the list of dealers who work with the GSSF and there are no dealers in my area, so, when I pay for shipping, and taxes, it would be pretty close to what I'm paying now.

Bud's gun shop just got some Gen 4 Glock 26s in and they are selling for, yup, you guessed it: $499, with free shipping.

Ed's Public Safety is $425, so you would save a few bucks and have an active GSSF membership.... do it

As of yesterday Ed's was sold out of the Glock 26 in gen4.  I know because I was trying to buy one and no one seems to have them in stock now.

Check Bud's gun shop, I got an e-mail them a couple hours ago indicating that they had Glock 26 Gen 4s for sale again: $499, free shipping, this is a cash price.

If you take the Glock Armorer's course you get two coupons toward a LE-priced Glock, around $398 each.

[#18]
And how much does a Glock armorer's course cost?
4/13/2011 5:36:01 PM EDT
[#19]
The class costs $150 for GSSF members.  This gets you certified on Glocks, parts directly from Glock at cost, two Glocks at LEO prices, and access to top armorers who can answer questions about assembly, production and differences between models.

So, let's see: $150 for the class and $35 for the GSSF membership = $185.
So, the Glock 26 I want would cost me $583.
But, it sounds interesting.

I'm good with my Glock 26 at $500 flat.

Good info.  I knew Ed's had around 44-45 26 Gen4 at the beginning of March.  Wow, thing sure god quickly.  As to one of the replies on top––I think per the new GSSF guidelines, you can sign up for two years right away and get to buy one at the GSSF price without having to wait the whole year.
