| as soon as i can get time off to pull a purchase permit iam buying a new 9mm glock but not sure if i want one of them gen 4s .why does it seem like so many are having problems with them .are they still making the gen 3s .I know i seen one in a 34 .which is what i was considering along with a gen 4 17 .is there any gen 3 17 around |

I'm new to Glock, but. I do know they are making Gen3's new. The Gen 4 is a option. But for now, yes, they are making new Gen3's
As for the Gen4 problems. I don't know why. But I read enough about them to go with a Gen3. I went with what was proven and I personally did not see the advantage of a 4. |
| i got a gen 4 g22 a couple of months ago and love it!!!! i will agree on the reports of the new "dimple connector" thing making the trigger a little "harder". its no biggie though. i dont know anybody else that is having problems either on a personal level. just handle them both and see what you like. i dont make use of the back straps really so much as the new texturing and the huge mag release. you cant lose either way really. |
