This may have already been covered here, and if it has, I appologize for a dupe topic.
What sort of mag extentions, if any, are ya'll using?
I picked up a G26 and would like an extention, but I don't want to risk grabbing one that may hinder mag reliability.
Any help is appreciated

You want more round count, or more gripage?

For grip, I've got to say GAP floorplates.

More grip is the primary concearn.
Of course, if I can get the extra grip and an extra round or two, with no reliability sacrifice I'm on board with that idea.

I also recommend the GAP. When you add the plus two extensions, your adding grip length and losing concealability which is why most folks carry a G26. I use a GAP on my mag in the gun and carry a G19 mag as a spare.

For more grip, +1 on the GAP floorplates.  I've shot a G26 with the Pearce +0 pinkie extension, and much prefer the GAP floorplate –– like someone else said, the 10-round mag with the GAP floorplate is also how I usually carry my G26 IWB.

The Glock OEM 12-round mag with the +2 extension works pretty well...so far, no reliability issues that I've had (it's usually my spare mag).

Only exception to carrying with the GAP floorplate is if I happen to carry OWB in a thumbbreak holster –– then I'll use the 12-round mag, as I get a better grip while drawing.  For some reason, I don't seem to get a good grip while drawing with the 10-round mag, even with the GAP floorplate...might be just how my holster covers the grip...YMMV.

I have four of these. I like them. I would use the +x plates, but am stuck with 10 round mags.

I can shoot my my G26 just fine with the standard baseplates on it.  But if I had to itch to make a change I would go for the GAP floorplates, since in my opinion it'd be silly to add anything that would increase the length of the grip.  If I wanted a longer grip I would've bought a G19.

I just have the pearce grip extension. It's not worth it to me to take the chance of messing with the reliability to get the extra rounds. I have an extra 10 rounds for that on my left hip. But that is just my opinion.

GAP for grip when drawing. The Pearce +0 didn't do much for me in that respect. I feel a little more comfortable with the Pearce when shooting, but don't feel that I really lose anything when shooting with the GAPs on.

I have used GAPs, Pearce's and OEM +2. I've never had any issues with any of them.

I run the GAP floorplate on the mag in the gun.  It's a CC gun anyway.  My reload has the Pierce +2 extension.  If I need to reload I want more ammo
