I'm fiddling around with these guns and sights enough that I want to get a sight pusher. Which is the best one?

Thanks and Merry Christmas.

For the money I'd get a MGW. The older Glock pushers were nicer than the new ones but hard to find.

I just bought an MGW and it works quite well . Well constructed and heavy built . You will like the one of these .

you need a separate MGW tool for slope sided(stock glock) and flat sided(most aftermarket)sights. so i returned mine to midway for money back as they only stock the slope sided model. i got the B+J Machine model 500 universal sight tool on sale this month at midway for $114.95. a great well made product for both front and rear sight installation on almost any handgun. it isfar more useful than very specialized MGW Glock specific product . buy the B+J,  you will not be disappointed!

also, the B+J tool clamps the slide with side to side pressure. they offer an optional clamp that clamps with additional top to bottom pressure for really tight fitting sights such as the truglo fiber optic/tritium sights i was installing  on my G20 +G19. this can be easily accomplished with a peice of wood on the bottom of the tool and the top of the slide and 2 C clamps. also put tape on the tip of the plunger tip to protect the sight finish. once i had it all figured out the 2nd set of sights pressed on in several minutes. their customer service is very good if you have any questions!

I looked into the BJ tool and bought the MGW. Read a lot of reviews here http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/sid=41891/pid=17840/sku/P500_Universal_Sight_Tool. My guess is your results are going to be dependant on what slide you have clamped in it and the tightness of the sight. Glock slides are very square and easy to clamp. In the past I have never been all that happy with universal tools vs model specific.

Due to my own stupidity, I mangled some parts on a borrowed BJ sight pusher. I looked up the company on the web and gave them a call. A few days later, the replacement parts showed up in the mail. There was no charge for the parts, shipping, or anything. It goes without saying that I highly recommend this company.

I have used a Glockmeister Sight Pusher/Installation Tool for 10years and it is awesome for installation (front & rear sights) and zeroing.  I don't think anything else even comes close.

The only "sight pusher" that will put you dead-on center is "YOU".

I've found that regardless of the tool, you still 'gotta lay eyes on the sights and adjust them visibly. Even my MGW tool with alignment marks will not dead-center the sights unless I eyeball them myself and move them as needed.

Ya, truer words have never been spoken.   I was out last weekend doing some drills to warm up for a match in 2 weeks (first weekend back from holidays) and my sights were fine. Then, at some point duringthe drills the sight jumped 1/4" to the right. Compltely at a loss how this happened since they were so tight to begin with. I don't want to chase down the guy who I borrowed the sight pusher from last time so...

Ugh. I think I may shoot a 19 in the match rather than my 34.
