| A little fly in my ear who works in industry (a manufacturer) told me this week that Glock intends to release a factory model that comes with a threaded barrel for suppressor use. No further information than that. He said to look for it in the coming year. Good source with no reason to make things up. Take it for what it's worth (obviously). |

So they're going to sell the Glock 17 Pro here now... http://www.imfdb.org/images/thumb/6/62/G17pro.jpg/400px-G17pro.jpg wow, that is nice... i need me one of those! |

Quoted: I don't see much of a market for these. I mean if you want a can on a glock you just get an aftermarket barrel and away you go. A lot of people like factory threaded barrels for their silencers. S&W got so many calls to buy the Spec Ops threaded barrel that they started offering an M&P with TWO barrels, one threaded, for under $600. |

I have a 9mm and .45 on the shelf right now. They come with both threaded and standard barrels... two mags and three different sized backstraps... and yes, they are under $600. Glock damn well better include both barrels if they want to compete with the M&P. |
