Has anyone here ever had their Glock slide refinished with ION-BOND?  I saw one the other day.  It looked and felt great.  Pulling back the slide felt very smooth.

I am wondering how does it hold up in the long run.
Any pro or cons to it?

I'm thinking of getting my 17 slide refinished with this and would like some first hand opinions.

I'm not sure about ion-bond, but I can reccomend Birdsong's Black-T finish.  while I've never had a pistol done, I've had an AR barrel coated and that stuff is tuff.  The best part about it is they dissassemble you're gun and coat every spring, pin, etc.  It is highly corrosion resistant and self lubricating.  They can also do green, tan or two-tone.  It is also affordable.  I think a Glock is like $125.  www.Black-T.com
