The Glock website states the G39 dimenstions are the same as the G26/27.  But I've read online people indicating that the G39 slide is wider.  Does anyone have a 39 and a 26/27 that can measure or post a picture to give me a number on the difference in slide width between the two?

I had a G26 and now have a G39. When I tried the G39 in the holster I used for the G26 I noticed that it was a tight fit. No dimensions, but the slide is marginally wider.

The slides wider but the overall width of the guns is the same.  Basically saying the frame/controls is the widest point of the gun.

I guess I'm concerned over minute details.  I was worried it was as wide as a G30 side, now those are much wider than a 26/27.  If a 39 will still fit in a 26 holster that tells me their aisn't much difference.  Now all I have to do is find a 39 locally to check out.  Gun show in a couple weeks but I've never seen one their, hate ordering one without at least handling one first.

I seriously doubt that it will fit in a quality holster designed for the 26, maybe something generic and loose fitting.

So their is a measurable difference?
