If you are disassembling a Glock and you squeeze the trigger while angling the pistol up should the firing pin still be poking out of the firing pin channel?

When you hold the trigger down and shake the pistol fore and aft, does the firing pin rattle?

Then it's fine. It's perfectly normal for the pin to be protruding from the breech face. Read #5, pg.39 of your owners manual.
