Do I need to change anything out aside from the barrel, magazine, and extractor in order to convert a G35 to 9mm?
ETA: A friend doesn't think it's even necessary to change the extractor, but this doesn't seem right. A 9mm case looks substantially smaller in diameter than a .40 case... |
| A Glock 35's barrels's outside diameter (it's larger) is different than a Glock 34's so you can't put a 34 barrel into a 35's slide. A 9mm conversion barrel, like LWD's, replicates the Glock 35's outside diameter. As far as the extractor, I would not change it out unless you planned to use the gun in 9mm for anything other than range use. I have never had any issues using the stock .40 extractor with my 9mm conversion barrel. You will need 9mm magazines. |
