G21C is compensated, meaning that the barrel is ported so it has a lower recoil.
G21 is the regular full size version. G21SF is the "Short Frame" version. Basically, the grip is slightly smaller on the front and back sides to allow people with smaller hands the ability to shoot it better. Also, the G21SF and maybe the G21 have two versions. One version is the California compliant model that has the regular Glock rail, right-handed mag release and comes with 10 round mags. The other version is the normal version, which has a picatinny rail, an ambi mag release and comes with 13 round mags. There is a lot of talk about the ambi mag releases "sticking," this is why I went with the G21SF California compliant model even though I live in OH. My gun shop also bought two 13 round mags to put with it as they told me those were what it came with. Hope this helps. BTW, i love my G21, t is my favorite and most accurate pistol. |
| the G21SF is the way to go. trigger reach is reduced on the SF model by about 1/8" or 3mm. it doesn't sound like much, but it definitely makes a difference. i have rather large hands and i still find the SF model to be more comfortable. my girlfriend has small hands, and believe it or not, but she actually shoots my 21SF better than she shoots my 19 (compact 9mm). |
