That finish looks great. |

I think I'm going to have Battle Werx do the optic cut on a G19 I have coming. |

Picked up a couple Faxon Duty series threaded barrels on a holiday sale over the past couple weeks and installed them. Decided to take a pick of them.

Kind of like the SRO there, but may still switch it out with an RMR. https://www.ar15.com/media/mediaFiles/18486/IMG_5144-3064345.jpg ETA: On both of the slides I sent in, it was less than 10 day turnaround and on the second one it was less than a 7 day turnaround. That’s sending the slide from TX to CT, them doing the work, and then returning it. Now keep in mind I did not have them refinish the cut, and I just hit it with B-C cold blue paste as used in Ivan’s YT video. Dirt simple and it works. I'm kind of torn on the refinishing. I would ideally like them to do it, but winter is when I have the most time to shoot so being without it for 5ish weeks is less than ideal. @TW200 would you post some close ups of how the optic meets up with the larger slide?
I’m curious if it fills the whole slide or not and if the lines match up. |
