So I'm looking for a price on a used Glock 24 Gen 2 that my FFL has. He currently has an aftermarket ported match barrel that he purchased for shooting cast bullets because the factory barrel "leaded" up to much. He still has the factory barrel that came with the gun. He has added an extended mag release, skate board tape, sights, flared mag well adapter, and he had the trigger "tuned". I have shot other Glocks, and this has by-far the nicest trigger. He is willing to throw in about 500 rounds of factory ammo too. He has a couple of die sets for it that I think I could talk him out of and a BUNCH of brass and bullets (both cast and jacketed).
Overall, the gun is in pretty good shape with only a few nicks here and there. The slide as been powder coated a navy blue. I'm not really crazy about that color and would most likely change that. He told me he would take $500 for the above. I think he would take less (maybe $400, maybe a little more). Is this a good price? He let me take it home today with a bunch of ammo to play around with. I had a lot of fun with it, but the only thing that bugs me is the lack of rail for accessories. I wouldn't mind adding a laser or possible a red dot sight down the road. I just like to have my options. Is it possible to have a rail added? It seems with the huge array of aftermarket parts, somebody would have come up with something to bolt up to it. |

Look about ½ way down this link Rail Adapter for Glocks. It says it fits the early G17 so it will fit all the 40s as they share the same frame. |

Even if the Glock has been messed with it is cheap and easy to get it back to stock. Sounds like a good deal I would do it. I couldnt have said it better myself! The glock is the easiest gun out there to work on and replace parts. unless something really bad or permanent was done to it, i would buy it |
