I could never figure a way to secure the planner with a weapon in it.  It could never leave my hand.  Not much use for my lifestyle and occupation.  You might consider a BOB for in your truck.  First aid kit, Firearm, and other emergency items.

The head of our instructor group is a retiree.  This is a no carry state, and his planner qualifies as a case.  Thus he can be 100% compliant, even beyond compliant because he keeps a mag in his pocket instead of in the case, and be a few seconds away from ready.  About any other way of trying to make a firearm ready to use in Illinois is illegal.  It sits on his car seat, in his lap when he rides with others, and he carries it around with him.

It's off-body carry.  If you live in a CCW state, get a holster and strap it to your person.

I carry iwb now but the point is that many people work in environments where thats difficult, if you're at a desk with the planner in front of you its quite convenient. I am looking for comments from people that use one of these and do you have any suggestions to make a better one.
