| I've got a pair of Blade-Tech IWB holsters and am a bit curious. The twin loops on the older holster are very floppy, almost rubbery. The newer set has a much stiffer belt loop that actually sticks out a bit from the belt. This actually causes a slight lump under certain garments. Are my newer loops a fluke or are you folks finding the same thing. I actually have a J-hook attachment I would be willing to trade for a set of the rubbery style if someone has them and wouldn't mind parting. Don't like the newer style. Interested in thoughts. |
| Mine are the same way. I've tried to flex them repeatedly to break them in. Also tried leaving them snapped when the holster isn't in use. Doesn't help. I've thought about switching to the nano holster, but I still can't see it being much an improvement over this one. |

I just got one a couple weeks ago and the loops are fairly rigid. Holster is not what I hoped either. Why is that? I bought the regular IWB for a 1911. Specifically for the Springfield Champion Operator.....which is one of the models they list. When I got it I found that the sweat guard has no relief for the ambi safety. When you wear/carry it, it knocks the safety off. To their credit, they said they would repair it and it is currently speeding its way back to them. Absolutely fantastic company to work with. |

Good to hear! I though they might be starting to use cheep materials to cut costs. |
| not from what I can tell. the new holster looks to be the same quality and materials as my older ones. the issue I have with the new one was either an oversite when they made it or a miscommunication on the model of handgun. They have ALWAYS gone over and above with customer service. Tara sent me a UPS shipping label within 5 minutes of calling with the problem. |

Sent an email and got a speedy response. Unfortunately:
No, im sorry to say all of the old stile loops have been gone for years. I hope with time you will like the new iwb as much as the old. This is from Dave Lathrop at BladeTech. So good response, just not the answer for which I was looking. It's a shame, because their J-hook attachment unit is a bit too wide for my tastes so there is really no way I would be happy with any of their belt attachments now. |

I just got one of these holsters today. I found that a curling iron will help flatten the loops. Please explain. What did you do? I simply heated the bent portion of the straps over the curling iron then pressed them flat with my fingers. When they cool they should have been deformed slightly, i.e. flatter. |
