Does anyone have any experience with comp-tac's C-clips? if so, what are your opinions? i like the idea of hiding the clips a little better, but how do they hold up?
worth it?

I have the c-clips and they are very durable and work extremely well.  The only problem is that you are limited to certain sized belts based upon the size c-clip you order.  If you're ok with wearing the same belt (or a belt with the same height) then the c-clips are great.  I think they are the best option.

They do work a little better but for me the extra few seconds it takes to secure and remove the holster makes things even in my book. Regular clips are easier for me

I do like the c-clips. They're very discreet and I feel that they hold the holster in position on my belt better than the standard clips.

However, they do take a little longer to put on/remove/adjust as you'll have to remove your belt to do any of those things.

It's a fair trade off, in my opinion.

I don't care for them.  I originally ordered my MTAC with C-clips.  There is still a substantial portion of the clip visible both above and below the belt.  They are equally as visible/noticeable as standard clips in my opinion.  Later when I bought a stiffer belt, I found that the top of the rear clip would not stay on the belt.  The stiffness of the belt created a larger space between me and the belt just behind my hip (I'm really skinny).  Since the top of the C-clip does not curve downward, the clip would just slip down into that space supported only by my pants and then jab me in the back.  I ordered some standard clips and have been happy ever since.

I'm not sure what you mean here? Have the c-clips changed recently? The top of mine curve down over the belt probably a 1/4" or so, same as the bottom. I couldn't force my belt to come out of the clip through the front without damaging either the clip or the belt.

I have had older ones that I needed to heat, and shape a little more; otherwise they would pop off from time to time. Newer clips, I haven't had any issues.

I see. Maybe TurboVolute was referring to the older style then. I've only had my c-clips since March of this year.

I like mine

when I first got my holster I had the normal clips.... the C clips seem to not move around as much- I can cinch my belt and it holds them in place better.... and mine doesn't come off my belt unless I'm using a different belt then my usual

I got my C-clips about two years ago.  Maybe they've changed since then.  I hadn't thought of reshaping them, but I like the standard clips better anyway.

ETA:  I checked the website.  They have been improved.  They now curl over the top of the belt a little bit and they also have five screw holes.  My old clips had only three holes which was another reason why I didn't care for them as much.

thanks for the input guys. i ended up getting the c clips and am happy with them so far. they seem sturdy and hold onto the belt nicely.
