I bought my first handgun back in April and chose the SW9VE due to price and size.  I figured it would be a good gun to start out with.  Shortly after, I applied for my CC permit and received it (8 days by mail... wow).  I picked up a OWB Serpa holster CQC, but that's not really concealable unless I am wearing a jacket.  I went to another gun show last week looking for an IWB holster similar to the two brands recommended here (MTAC and Crossbreed).  Nothing to be found there except junk from what I could tell, so I didn't buy anything except a soda.

After renting a G27 this past week, I am wondering if I should hold off on the holster for the SW9VE and just pick up a G27 and a holster for that.  I am somewhat concerned about the concealability of the SW9VE even with a good holster.  I don't want to spend $80 on a holster for a gun I don't end up using for CC.

Opinions?

That Smith would conceal just fine with a good leather holster, pancake style, 2 or 3 slot, slight forward cant.  Or a good IWB.

Only thing I don't like about the Sigma is the trigger pull.  Otherwise they're decent pistols.

Peruse the sites of the various makers, see what they offer for that pistol.  Galco, Bianchi, Blade-Tech, etc. etc.

You want to carry a gun that you are comfortable with. Your gun will be an every day companion and you want to be able to carry it and shoot it well.
