Does your carry position vary depending on situation.
I just got my CCW and aside from carrying around the house while waiting,
I dont have much experience.
I do like the appendix carry and the Raven seems good for this.
I see so much talk about the Superuck and MTAC also that I cant make up my mind.
It will either be appendix carry or 4 :00

depending on which gun i have on me at the time. i will carry at either 3oclock for my smaller gun, or at a 4:30-5 oclock position for my larger gun.

Go with the MTAC.  I bought one last year and i haven't even had the urge to shop for a new holster since.  I carry a full size P226 all day everyday and i truly forget i am carrying sometimes.  This holster is the shit.  The best part about it is that if you decide to change carry weapons it only cost 35 dollars to order a new kydex shell for all of your other pistols.  The ability to change the angle of carry as well as how high or low it rides does wonders for your ability to wear normal clothes.  I can get away with shorts and a t shirt anytime with this holster.  save yourself the trouble and money of going thru multiple holster styles and just buy the mtac.

I'm a big believer in muscle memory. I have been shooting IPSC for over 27 years, drawing from a strong side rig. I always carry my belt guns, whether my Glock CCW piece or my STI IPSC match gun, in the same place (straight drop at 3 o'clock). The only exception is when I am forced by circumstance to carry in a pocket holster or fanny pack... I try to avoid this whenever possible. Also, I limit my CCW to only two guns - the G27 or a Kahr MK40. KISS.

It's always at 4.  May it be one of the 5"-1911s or the HK45c, It's all about muscle memory training.

When I started carrying many years ago,  two popular methods were shoulder holster and ankle holster.  I played with probably every variation out there.  I'm getting pretty set in my ways, and these days it's either OWB crossdraw or belly bag.  Some folks say that the belly bag screams "GUN".  But i"ve found that the only people who pay attention to them are LEO's and other gunny type folks.  They may well "know" there's a gun in there, but it is still "concealed".  And, I'm not all that worried about "printing".  Again, only the above mentioned folks really pay attention, and it is still "concealed" ever if it "prints".

No.

Train like you fight, fight like you train.

Best to keep it in the same place, the same way, all the time if possible.  This is what I do.  Think:  muscle-memory.

Different gun, different carry, also depends on situation and time of year.
I may keep a gun in my pocket, or inside the pants, or in a coat jacket.
If I wear a coat I can carry bigger guns easier, in an easier to draw position. If I am in summer dress its easier for me to carry smaller pistols, and if im hiking or walking they are less strenuous too. Big pockets and I can pistol carry. If I am going into retaurant that sells alcohol (in tn I cant carry there) I wanna have it where I can lock it in my car without anybody seeing me do it.
There a lot of variables. You figure it out.

Really depends on you, i carry my g23 at about 8 oclock (lefty lol) especially in the winter time. summer i usually carry a snubby .38 either 8 oclock or in a pocket. one thing a buddy taught me about apendix carry, idk if you have tried it but for me it was painful when i would sit down, the barrel digs right into ya and just wouldnt work of me in an everyday environment. if i was standing all day then sure that wouldnt be a problem but i dont im up and down alot and found just behind the hip bone to be the most comfortable
