| ok, so i just got my MTAC (love it already!) but havent yet gotten my permit. is there any reason to not just carry the holster EMPTY to get used to it being there? seems like a good idea to me, but figured i'd ask people who've been doing this longer. |

At least wear it on your property with the gun to get used to the feel and so you can practice your draw stroke. oh i definitely intend to do that. but i've quickly realized that i cant reproduce anywhere near the amount of positions ill be in throughout the day while in my apartment. thus the idea to wear the holster around empty to get used to it in the places i cant recreate. |

Don't bother, it will feel so different with the gun in it that getting use to it without the gun is a waste of effort. Wait for your permit. |

Also it'll break in over time, so if it feels a little stiff at first don't sweat it. The leather will shape itself to you over time and it will become a little more comfortable. Just like Garth said about underwear: At first it's tight and constrictive, but after awhile, it becomes a part of you! |
