Sometimes I wonder if they do stuff like this on purpose, just so people won't gripe about how "realistic" it is. I couldn't tell you the last time I saw a show where they had a 1911 with the hammer cocked, even on a show like The Unit where they have (or maybe had) a former Delta operator attached to production. Of course as far as realism goes, the people that would gripe wouldn't know proper firearm function if it bit them in the ass. And Denny Crane would get the crap sued out of him by the would be robber, and his tough guy banter would only hurt his case. |

Yeah he did have the right, it's all the Billy Badass talk that isn't necessary and could have gotten him shot. Also the shooting to wound without any apparent concern for what said BGs weapon is doing. But hey, it's Hollywood. They're interested in the entertainment and potential shock value, not realism. Does that clarify what I meant? |
