Does anyone use/recommend a shoulder holster?  I've been thinking about them for my G17.  I've found some that have two magazine holsters on the non-gun side.  It looks ideal.

I've got one for my Colt Series 70 "reissue"  Very comfortable and concealable.

Shoulder holsters.....some love 'em, others hate 'em.  They allow you to carry a rather large handgun, plus reloads.  And they are pretty much the only holster design that'll allow you to draw while seated (like from behind the wheel of a car, forinstance).
On the other hand, they require you to wear either a jacket or "cover shirt/garment" to conceal, require you to draw "across" your body (making drawing troublesome if you're back-pedaling with your attacker in your face) and said "large" handgun gets HEAVY after a while!  I can now imagine what a chick with DDD boobs feels like when she unstraps her bra!
Weigh the good points against the bad......and whatever you do, buy quality leather!

I have a cheap uncle mikes shoulder rig that I keep by my bed, simply because my boxers dont hold a holster if I have to get up at night.

Plus you can just throw a coat over it...

I know, pretty pathetic.

Another fan of the Miami Classic if you're going to use a shoulder holster.
