I Live in VT close to the NH border and go to NH alot.  I checked packing.org but wanted to clarify with you all if it is legal for me to just switch from carry concealed to open carry when I go to NH without a permit.  Also have any VT residents or other non-residents tried for a NH CCW permit?  how did it go?  Thanks in advance guys

Since I had my MA LTC all I had to do was fill out the application and photo copy my MA license and send it to them.  I think they figure if you can get a LTC in MA you must be a saint.

Post your question over at NES

There are a ton of NH guys that can tell you what to do if you don't have a MA license like me.

haha, vt is a funny state.

you just go to the site, and there is a link to download the NH application.  print it out, fill it out, and send it to them with a $20 check or money order.

3 weeks later you got it in the mail.

if you want to open carry in NH you can.  HOWEVER! you can NOT carry in the car.  it has to be inaccessible to you in the car.  Once you're out of the car, you can put it on and carry OPENLY.  stay out of schools, federal buildings, and court houses.  and be prepared to get hastled.

get the non-resident permit...its worth it.
