My understanding all the NFA type weapons were not legal for CCW carry. Does this vary by state?

Why would even consider a pen gun for ccw? Wait are you a spy from an another country and can't carry anything else?......................I knew it!! We have a Pinko!!! JK

Actually i saw on another forum , someone who does carry a pen gun. Just curious as to if this is at all leagal or not. I stick to basics weapons myself. About the most exotic I have is my USP.

Maybe for a state where you don't have to qualify with the gun........

No regs here on carrying an AOW or III firearm.

Depends on your motivation. If you think you may need an ultra-deep cover backup, there are the non-NFA Stinger pen guns (photo below); they are similar in size and shape to a pen, but because they have to be assembled before they can be shot, they do not come under the NFA. Of course, this assembly requirement does slow their deployment considerably. I'll pass thanks.
