I'm going to a concert this Saturday at a hotel casino here in Vegas. It's my first time going to a concert and I was wondering if it's ok to carry in a concert or should I leave my pistol in the car? Thanks in advance, 556man |

I don't know about NV laws, and I'm too lazy to look them up, but you might not be able to carry there. I've also been to very few regular concerts that didn't do a pat-down search, so even if it's legal, you might not be able to get in with it. Which bands are playing, and at what sort of venue? |

| I recently went to a concert in St. Paul and while I didn't see any "guns banned" signs, they did do pat down search. It was a very half-assed search (the patted my hips and my calfs). If I wanted to, I could've Mexican carried my CCW and they wouldn't have found it , as long as I kept it close to my junk. |

Last concert I went to at a big ampitheater here we got patted down and they wouldn't let my buddy take his pepper spray in and he was an off-duty cop. So I guess a gun would have been a no-no. Now NASCAR races are a different story. They don't care what you bring in as long as it's not glass. |
