Interested in feedback from those who have CCW related insurance and experiences with leveraging the resources provided whether it be legal assistance, general support, etc.  Any particular insurer you recommend and reasons why?  I am aware of USCCA and curious to know if they are good to go.

Also, recently relocated so will be brushing up on state laws and getting legal recommendations. I pray never needed and prefer to be prepared with contacts instead of starting from scratch after an incident.

Any thoughts and insight from those experienced in this area would be greatly appreciated.  I'm sure this topic has come up before but search came back negative (possible my search skills are subpar).

Though a CCDW, (Kentucky talk for CCW), holder for almost 2 decades, I haven't bought any insurance.

My theory is is it is possible to be insurance poor.  (Note, most politicians don't believe this is possible in regard to Social Security. sub note, (fornicate them, with the inappropriate dildo of choice).

Really, invest the money in a good index fund.  Chances are you will never need it.  If you do, chances are it won't be enough..

I have CCW Safe for my wife and I. One of the things I like about it is that it includes a pretty good bond amount. If I shot someone and it is a good shoot, I still expect to have to deal with worst case legal ramifications. CCW Safe is supposed to cover your civil defense in addition to your criminal defense.

Instructions that they give you when you sign up is the call 911 and then call them and they will send a lawyer. When the police arrive you just tell them that you are the victim and that you did what had to be done to stop the bad guy, but other than that tell them that you would be happy to answer their questions but have been instructed to wait until your attorney is present.
