I have a buddy, no not me

, that wants to carry his G23 while he's trout fishing. He wants a holster that he can access while he's wearing waders.

I wanted to see if anyone had recommendations. Thanks in advance for any help..

I just put it in my chest rig for concealed.

If open carry is legal, I wear it outside in a holster on my wader belt. I don't care if it gets wet, it's a glock.

I open carried like that in Maine and nobody looked twice, even the game warden didn't blink..

I carry when I fresh water fish. Usually first two rounds are shotshells. For your friend would recommend either a shoulder holster or chest rig.
