Friend just picked up a shield 9mm. Asked for my opinion on sticky brand holsters. She will be carrying AIWB. any feedback from you guys on this brand?  I'm not big on holsters that don't clip to the belt personally

Not a huge fan. When I need to AIWB a Shield with a tucked in shirt, I use a Smartcarry. Primary issue with the sticky holster is if you are tucked, and pull the shirt tail there is potential for the whole works to come out of your pants. Untucked, not as much of an issue. I’m just not a big fan of floppy, loose holsters overall due to retention issues and stability when going from standing to seated, etc.

Kudos to her for carrying though, especially on-body.

I got em for my j frame, G26 and G17. I carry AIWB with them all. I found them stickier than Remora holsters so that's why I have so many. I don't use them all the time because I prefer a more solid belt mount for everyday carry, but they do fill a niche.

I've carried my P238 and P938 AIWB with a sticky holster and I really like it.  When practicing, everytime I draw, the holster stays in my pants.  It's really surprising how well it sticks.  Downside is that you need to remove the holster from your waistband to re-holster the weapon, but I don't really mind.

It's a comfortable, inexpensive holster that works.   I'll probably be getting another one.

I have carried a Shield and a Glock 26 in the same Sticky holster. I think it is the Med-2. For me, it works best if I carry AIWB and don't do a lot of bending over, sitting down and standing up. I find for a quick trip to the store, or a walk around the block with the dog, it works just fine.

I've used the Remora AIWB for both a SIG P290RS and SIG P250c. I was leery at first but I'll be darned if it hasn't turned out to be very comfortable and I've had no problems w/holster retention,
I'm even considering another for my SIG P2022.
I'm not worried about reholstering but Remora makes an RFT (reinforced top) model that's supposed to let you reholster one-handed.

If anyone needs a primer on Remoras, youtube user faliaphotography has a good one.
Oh, hell, I'll just post it here.

I have a Nemesis, and it shifts around a lot. Not reliable for keeping in place IWB at 3 or 4 o'clock.  You really need a clip of some sort.

I have one for my LC9 that I use when I carry it in the car and move it from place to place. Keeps the trigger covered, but that's about all I use it for.

It's great to keep the pistol between the seat and the console, and then put it in the console when I go into work.

Same. I was skeptical as shit at first. But they really do stay put quite nicely.

They work alright, you have to get used to them first. You need to move it to where you can get it tight enough against your body and your waist band. They're good if you need to take it out and put it in during the day.

I'd also get a clip holster if you plan on carrying all day without removing it. Or planning on running/exercising a lot.
